Jord Boeijink

Short career overview

I studied Physics and Astronomy at the Radboud University Nijmegen from 2003 until 2009. In the final year of my studies I wrote my master's thesis titled Noncommutative geometry of Yang-Mills fields under supervision of Walter van Suijlekom and Ronald Kleiss. After having obtained my master's degree I continued my research as a PhD student in the mathematics department at the Radboud University Nijmegen from 2009 until 2014, where I worked on further applications of noncommutative geometry to gauge theories in physics, and especially, to the quantisation of these. This time I was supervised Walter van Suijlekom and Klaas Landsman. A digital copy of my PhD thesis can be found here. From October until December 2014 I worked as a post-doc in the same group and from April 2015 on I work at a company in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
